The Electrolux EWF1242R9WCS UltimateCare 900 is a premium 12kg front load washing machine designed for large households and customers who want advanced fabric care, intelligent washing and excellent efficiency. With its generous capacity, 1400 RPM spin speed and sophisticated white finish, it can comfortably handle large family loads, bedding, towels and everyday laundry.
One of its standout features is IntelliQuick, which uses load sensing to select an efficient program and can clean a full 12kg load in just 45 minutes. This makes it particularly useful for busy households that need a large-capacity machine without unnecessarily long wash times.
The IntelliDose automatic detergent system uses sensors to determine the appropriate amount of detergent for each load. Combined with SensorWash, the machine monitors dirt levels and can adjust the wash accordingly. Electrolux states that IntelliDose can reduce detergent usage by up to 60% under its specified test conditions.
UltraMix technology thoroughly dissolves and activates detergent and softener before they enter the drum, helping achieve effective cleaning while reducing visible detergent residue on clothing. The specially designed CareDrumprovides gentler movement for fabrics, while DelicatesPlus optimises drum motion and speed for more delicate garments.
For clothes that don't require a complete wash, the VapourRefresh cycle refreshes garments and helps smooth creases in under 30 minutes. The Sanitise program combines washing with steam at temperatures above 60°C and is verified by Swissatest to remove more than 99.99% of tested common bacteria and viruses, while also reducing pollen and allergens.
The EWF1242R9WCS also features SmartSelect controls, allowing you to adjust the wash according to your needs while receiving feedback to help optimise time, energy and water consumption. Wi-Fi connectivity, app notifications, an internal drum light and Add Clothes functionality add further convenience to this premium laundry appliance.
